All Justy models were equipped with multi port fuel injection late in 1991, in the United States. The Justy of 1991 was in its eighth year of the first generation, a subcompact hatchback sold in Japan, Europe and North America with a 1.2 liter three cylinder engine, with the 4WD option and a five door model, both available from 1990. The Justy is a subcompact hatchback made by Subaru since 1984. In some regions it was also marketed simply as the J series, J10 for the 1.0 liter versions and J12 for the later 1.2 liter versions.
