In March 1990 Holden resurrected the Statesman and Caprice names, given the model designation VQ, using the long wheelbase chassis taken from the VN Commodore station wagon. In comparison to the regular Commodore sedan, VQs added an additional 110 millimeters of length, and Holden made many efforts to distinguish the Statesman from the Commodore, including a formal grille. This page belongs to the Holden Statesman model on its Holden make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
