The Courier moniker has been used on a variety of vehicles all around the world, and in 1990 it was a Mazda built compact pickup with a larger cab and five speed manual transmission. It was sold under the Ford badge in Australia and in several other markets around the world. The Courier was a Ford nameplate used on very different vehicles in different places and years, from sedan deliveries to pickups and vans. It began as a sedan delivery, became a Mazda built compact pickup, and later a Fiesta based van and coupe utility.
