The Century sedan wasn't enough for the heady days of Japan's Bubble Economy, and in October 1989 the Century Limousine appeared. Sales had doubled from 1,027 in 1985 to 2,117 in 1989. It was the Century's twenty third year on sale. It was model year 8 of 10 in the Toyota Century (first generation, G20, G30 and G40), 1967 to 1996, coming after the 1988 model year and before the 1990 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Century run from 1967 to 2025.
