The range of the Sierra based P100 was now built in Portugal for the European market, to a design set out by Ford UK, in 1989. It was a coupe utility pickup on the Sierra, with a Pinto engine of 2.0 litres or a 1.8 litre turbodiesel. It began as the Cortina Pickup and ended in 1995 on the Sierra, built in Portugal. The P100 was a coupe utility pickup that Ford built on the front half of a family car, sold first in South Africa and then in Europe.
