The 1987 New Yorker had a minor exterior revision from 1986, as the New Yorker Turbo saw its hood vents removed and the fender louvers seen since 1983 were removed from all New Yorkers. While most of the dashboard was carried over, the steering wheel was redesigned for a second time and a power antenna became a new option. It was the last full year of the E platform New Yorker, before the larger redesigned car of 1988.
