The Chariot of 1986 was in its fourth year on sale, sold in Australia as the Nimbus UB and in North America as the Colt Vista. In Canada the Colt Vista was marketed only with four wheel drive in several model years, including 1986. The Japanese car was a six or seven seater with rear rows that folded flat and a middle row that could be turned around. The Chariot's wheelbase was 2,625 mm. A single 1.8-litre GLX version, with manual or automatic transmission, was assembled from CKD kits in New Zealand by importer Todd Motors.
