In following with many other Chrysler vehicles, the Caravan and Voyager shifted from four lug to five lug wheels for 1986. To reduce high speed wind noise, Chrysler added a bumper mounted air dam. The Caravan was still the single wheelbase van with a sliding door, and the minivans remained alike in design, with an eggcrate grille on the Caravan and horizontal trim on the Voyager. The Caravan still had a single sliding door and a liftgate, and was built at Saint Louis and Windsor.
