In August 1985 the Corona underwent a small change, largely consisting of new, bigger taillights, and a sporting 1.8 SX-R version of the 160 series sedan was added in late 1985. The Corona Coupe was manufactured from 1985 until 1989, and Toyota Australia introduced a facelift in November 1985. It was model year 4 of 5 in the Toyota Corona (seventh generation, T140, T150 and T160), 1982 to 1986, coming after the 1984 model year and before the 1986 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corona run from 1957 to 2001.
