The Toyota Carina ED was a Japanese compact car created in 1985 as a companion to the 1984 Carina sedan. In August 1985 the trim levels were changed to shift the Sports models into the front wheel drive range, and the 2000GT hardtop coupe was replaced by the Carina ED four door hardtop in 1985. It was model year 2 of 3 in the Toyota Carina (fourth generation, T150), 1984 to 1987, coming after the 1984 model year and before the 1986 model year.
