The 1981 models saw only minor revisions, and the styling was unchanged other than the grille, which remained egg crate style but with larger sections. The engine line up remained unchanged, though the 229 cubic inch V6 was rated at 110 horsepower and the 305 V8 at 150 horsepower, and all engines were updated with the Computer Command Control system that included an electronically metered carburetor.
