The sixth generation S110 was launched in 1979 with its engine enlarged from 2.6 to 2.8 liters in the 5M-EU. Early cars had twin rectangular headlights, with bigger monoblock units on the facelifted ones. This was the first model year of the Toyota Crown (sixth generation, S110), 1979 to 1982, which took over from the Toyota Crown (fifth generation, S80 to S100); the 1980 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
