1977 Toyota Chaser

Production of the Chaser began in July 1977, evolving from the X20 generation Mark II GSS hardtop coupe, and it was sold only at Japanese Toyota Auto Store dealerships as their top level model. Chasers were four door sedans and hardtop sedans, with a two door coupe available only in the first generation. This was the first model year of the Toyota Chaser (first generation, X30 and X40), 1977 to 1979, the first generation covered for the Toyota Chaser; the 1978 model year follows it.
