1977 Plymouth Volaré

Automobiles

The Plymouth Volaré was Canada's top selling car in 1977, in a second model year that was mostly a carryover with an optional Super Six version of the 225 slant six. Total production was 327,739 Volarés, well above that of the year before. The standard engine was the 225 cubic inch slant six, supplemented by an optional Super Six with a two barrel carburetor that had earlier been available in Australia, and the cars were built at Newark, Delaware, and at Dodge Main in Hamtramck, Michigan.
