The Delica of 1977 was in its tenth year of the first generation, the Delica 1400 with the one ton T121 longer wheelbase truck and the T120. In export markets it was the Colt, and it was a massive success in Indonesia. The replacement was due in June 1979 with an all new body. The Delica has been sold as the L300 later L400 in Europe, Jamaica and New Zealand, Express and Starwagon in Australia, and plain Mitsubishi Van and Wagon in the United States.
