The Delica of 1978 was in its eleventh and last year of the first generation, a cab over truck and van that had stayed in production since 1968. The T120 would remain in production in Indonesia until 1982, long after the all new design replaced it in Japan in June 1979. The passenger car versions were known as Delica Star Wagon from 1979 until the 1994 introduction of the Delica Space Gear. The Delica was originally based on a cabover van and pickup truck introduced in 1967, also called the Delica.
