In January 1975 the Minicab received an emissions cleaned engine using the Mitsubishi MCA technology, still with 28 PS, and it was modified to fit the larger, yellow license plates that were introduced for kei cars at the turn of the year, with additional plate lights. Three point belts became standard on the Super DeLuxe and were optional on the other models. Ride quality was improved with the adoption of a front wishbone and rear leaf spring suspension.
