The specification was once again revised in 1974, including a sealed cooling system, improved brakes, restyled wheels with flared wheel arches, and restyled interior fittings. The Carina was by now well established as the sedan counterpart of the Celica. It was model year 4 of 5 in the Toyota Carina (first generation, A10 and A30), 1970 to 1976, coming after the 1973 model year and before the 1975 model year.
