The odd look of the 1974 Cortina Pickup came from a vertical rear window and a B pillar, because the cab was cut from a two door sedan shell. It was a coupe utility built in South Africa from the Cortina Mk3, with a rear tray that was sold in several forms. The P100 was a coupe utility pickup that Ford built on the front half of a family car, sold first in South Africa and then in Europe. It began as the Cortina Pickup and ended in 1995 on the Sierra, built in Portugal.
