1973 Plymouth Valiant

Automobiles

For 1973 the vent wing windows were deleted from the Scamp, and all models were given a new grille and front bumpers able to withstand a five mile an hour impact, as well as steel beams inside the doors to protect occupants in side impacts. It was the last year of the third generation Valiant. The new grille and impact bumpers marked the final year of the third generation, and the car took more than 40 percent of Plymouth's sales volume in the early 1970s.
