The 1972 Satellite continued the fuselage styled body of 1971 in its two door, four door and wagon forms. Sedans and coupes kept their own sheet metal and unique styling, and the sedans were available in base, Custom and Brougham trims. It was the second year of the third generation, which would run through 1974, when the Satellite name was dropped and Plymouth's mid-size line took the Fury name. It used the B body.
