A new design was introduced for the 1971 model year, with fuselage styling in line with the facelift of the larger C body Chryslers on the two door, four door and wagon models. Unlike earlier years, four door sedans and two door coupes did not share sheet metal and carried unique styling. Sedans were offered in base, Custom and Brougham trims. The new design was applied to the two door, four door and wagon models alike, each with its own body.
