1969 Chrysler New Yorker

Automobiles

Introduced in August 1968, the 1969 full size Chryslers featured a new fuselage styling shared with all C body cars, including the completely restyled Imperial, with plain curved smooth sides and a higher beltline. The previous generation's platform continued, but the styling was a major reworking, and details at the front and rear, with rectangular frame bumpers and different taillamps, distinguished the full size Chryslers. The high beltline gave a bulky look.
