The 1970 Chryslers received minor styling changes to the grille, taillamps and trim, and the small vent windows on the front doors were dropped on the two door hardtops. The fuselage body continued from 1969, so the New Yorker kept its curved sides and high beltline, and the model remained the top of the regular Chrysler line below the Imperial, in a year when styling changes were minor and the car looked little different from the year before.
