The redesigned 1967 Barracuda rode on a 108 inch wheelbase and had model specific sheet metal and a much smaller flush rear window on its streamlined fastback. A convertible and a notchback coupe were offered for the first time. The 225 slant six stayed the base engine, and the V8 choices ranged from the 273 to a rarely ordered 383 big block that came only with the Formula S package. A 1967 car can be told by the absence of side marker lamps and reflectors.
