For 1967 the Continental was given only minor trim updates, the biggest being the deletion of the Lincoln star emblem from the front fenders, along with a number of new dashboard indicator lights including an oil pressure warning light and lights for an open trunk and the cruise control. Lap belts became standard and the steering column was energy absorbing. The year was the last for the Continental convertible, with only 2,276 sold, the final four door convertible built by an American maker.
