The Corolla made its debut at the 1966 Tokyo Motor Show and was introduced in November 1966 with a new 1100 cc pushrod engine. In Japan it was sold only at the Toyota Corolla Store dealers, and Australia, supplied from November 1966, became the first market to import it. This was the first model year of the Toyota Corolla (first generation, E10), 1966 to 1969, the first generation covered for the Toyota Corolla; the 1967 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
