Plymouth discontinued the Savoy nameplate at the end of the 1964 model year, except in Canada, where it continued through 1965, and in 1965 the entry level full size Plymouth in the United States was the Fury I. In Canada the Savoy was the entry model, with the top level models named Fury II and Fury III. The 1964 Savoy still offered the 426 Wedge engine with power of 415 or 425 horsepower, which made it the last year of a competition oriented Savoy.
