The HA Viva was announced in September 1963 and was powered by a 1,057 cubic centimeter, overhead valve, four cylinder, front mounted engine driving the rear wheels. It was comparable in size and mechanical specifications with the new Opel Kadett released a year earlier in continental Europe, and the Viva and Kadett were sold alongside each other in many markets. This page belongs to the Vauxhall Viva model on its Vauxhall make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
