For 1960 the Country Cruiser line was revised, with Mercury discontinuing the mid range Voyager and all two door wagons, leaving single tone Commuters and wood trim Colony Parks. The headlights moved into the grille, the hoodline lowered and the scalloped fins were deleted, while woodgrain coverage over the side bodywork was reduced. The 430 V8 returned as an option, rated at 310 horsepower with a single four barrel carburetor.
