As a full size wagon the Country Sedan of 1954 could carry up to nine passengers if it was so equipped. It was the last year in which the wagon belonged to the Customline range, and it outsold the more exclusive and costlier Country Squire in that year as in every other. The Country Sedan was the mid trim station wagon of the full size Ford range, with plain body sides. It was the cheaper wagon beside the woodgrain Country Squire and outsold the Squire in every year.
