1951 Wolseley 6/80

Automobiles

A 6/80 tested by the British magazine The Motor in 1951 had a top speed of 85.3 miles an hour and could accelerate from rest to 60 miles an hour in 21.4 seconds. A fuel consumption of 21.8 miles per imperial gallon was recorded and the test car cost 767 pounds including taxes. An Autocar road test of an apparently similar car managed a lower top speed. The car was used extensively by the police. The 6/80 was the more powerful of the first two Wolseleys.
