1929 Rover 16

Automobiles

The 16/50 remained available into 1929, finishing its run soon after the demise of the smaller bore 14 horsepower twin, the 14/45. Rover was on the point of a new management under Spencer and Maurice Wilks, who joined in 1929 and 1930, and the car was one of the last of the earlier generation of Rovers. The 16 name came back in 1936 on a different car. The Rover 16/50 was therefore on sale for three years.
