The X7 is BMW's largest SUV and its flagship in that class, a full size luxury crossover with three rows of seats as standard, announced in March 2014 and unveiled in October 2018. It is built at the Greer plant in South Carolina on the same CLAR platform as the X5, borrows design cues from the sixth and seventh generations of the 7 Series, and uses all wheel drive in every model.
