The last V20 year in North America started building in August 1990. It is recognizable by a restyled lower front valance panel, and the DX gained color keyed bumpers and new cloth trim. In Australia fuel injection became standard in May 1991 and the Ultima gained a CD player, a first for an Australian built car. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Camry (second generation, V20), 1987 to 1991, and the Toyota Camry (third generation, XV10) came next, following the 1990 model year.
