Toyota Previa (first generation, XR10 and XR20)

Automobiles

The first generation was designed by Toyota designer Tokuo Fukuichi and Calty designer David Doyle in 1987, with a patent filed on 24 December 1987, and was introduced on 27 January 1990. A lower cost eight passenger model followed in February 1993 using the AWD rear suspension, and the Estima and Previa received facelifts in December 1994 and January 1998. In the United States the Previa was sold from March 1990, as a 1991 model, until 1997, and elsewhere until 8 January 2000.
