The Estima and Previa received a second facelift in January 1998, and each facelift model can be distinguished by a different front grille design. The first generation continued outside the United States until January 2000. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Previa (first generation, XR10 and XR20), 1990 to 1999, and the Toyota Previa (second generation, XR30 and XR40) came next, following the 1997 model year.
