The second generation MR2 was introduced in 1989 as Revision 1, a redesign that arrived in North America only in early 1990 as a 1991 model. The last first generation MR2 was the 1989 Super Edition, a run of 270 units in Midnight Blue with a MOMO steering wheel. This was the first model year of the Toyota MR2 (second generation, W20), 1989 to 1999, which took over from the Toyota MR2 (first generation, W10); the 1990 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota MR2 run from 1984 to 2007.
