Production of the fourth generation Prado ended in June 2020 in China, and since the August 2020 update all Prado models in Australia are offered with an automatic transmission only. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (fourth generation, J150), 2009 to 2022, and the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (fifth generation, J250) came next, following the 2019 model year.
