In May 1967 the original two door line gained a four door sedan and a three door light van, which in Japan counted as a commercial vehicle although it was in effect a small wagon. A two speed automatic gearbox, called Toyoglide, also joined the range that year. It was model year 2 of 4 in the Toyota Corolla (first generation, E10), 1966 to 1969, coming after the 1966 model year and before the 1968 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
