1994 Toyota 4Runner

Automobiles

The 1994 model year added side impact beams in the doors, one of the safety upgrades to a generation that had been targeted as unsafe because United States crash rules for light trucks were not strict at the time. The Japanese Hilux Surf had by now replaced its 2.4 liter diesel with a 3.0 liter turbodiesel. It was model year 5 of 6 in the Toyota 4Runner (second generation, N120 and N130), 1990 to 1995, coming after the 1993 model year and before the 1995 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota 4Runner run from 1984 to 2025.
