1986 Toyota 4Runner

For 1986 the front suspension was changed from a solid axle to the Hi-Trac independent design, which freed room for larger engines, and the grille went from three segments to two. A turbocharged 22R-TE making 135 horsepower was also introduced, though it is much rarer than the standard engine. It was model year 3 of 6 in the Toyota 4Runner (first generation, N60), 1984 to 1989, coming after the 1985 model year and before the 1987 model year.
