June 1989 brought a gentle facelift and a new four cylinder engine called Clover 4, the EN05, replacing the EK twins with 38 PS in standard form and 61 PS with the supercharger. It was the first four cylinder kei engine since the Mazda Carol and it was unique in the class. In Australia the Fiori went on sale in the summer of 1989 with a 758 cc four. The Rex was marketed as the Viki in certain Southeast Asian markets.
