Hideyuki Fujino drove the sister car to win the overall title in 2023 and 2025. In 2022, for the 2023 model year, a 10th Anniversary Special Edition 86 was available in North America and Japan. In July 2023, for the 2024 model year, Subaru released the BRZ tS, tuned by STI, as a new trim with an upgraded interior with blue stitching and an STI themed instrument cluster. Both the BRZ and the GR86 are made at Subaru's Ota, Gunma assembly plant.
