The Century was a Buick name worn in turn by large upmarket cars before the war and in the middle 1950s, and by mid size cars from 1973 to 2005, always the performance minded line in the Buick range, first renamed from the Series 60 in 1936, then on the intermediate A body, the front drive A platform and finally the W body that it shared with the Regal.
