General Motors downsized its intermediate line, reducing wheelbase by four inches and curb weight by nearly half a ton. The Century was initially offered as an aeroback fastback two door coupe and a fastback four door sedan along with a station wagon, sharing bodies with the Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon, and the new base engine was Buick's new 196 cubic inch V6. Its model years run from 1978 to 1981. This page belongs to the Buick Century model on its Buick make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
