In May 1971 the Minicab underwent its first model change, with the Minicab EL offering a new interior and a longer cargo bed, as the T130, in truck form only. A panel box van and the Minicab W with the water cooled 2G10 engine followed in September 1972. Just under 210,000 second generation Minicabs were built, the slowest selling generation.
