The second generation eK Wagon and eK Sport were released on 13 September 2006 and the eK Active was dropped as they arrived. A facelift came on 21 August 2008. The car had a sliding door on the passenger side, unusual in its class and abandoned for the third generation, and a rebodied version became the fourth generation Toppo. Nissan sold it as the Otti. Nissan sold its twin as the Otti, which had gone on sale in 2005. Its model years run from 2006 to 2012.
