The third generation eK Wagon and its sportier eK Custom were released in June 2013, the first major design update since the eK went on sale and the first car developed jointly by Nissan and Mitsubishi through NMKV. Nissan sold it as the Dayz, and the eK Custom as the Dayz Highway Star. It was facelifted in October 2015 and the Active Gear grade came in December 2017. Its model years run from 2013 to 2018.
