Automobiles

The Mark VII Mini of 1997 was sold as the basic Mini 1.3i and the Mini Cooper, with twin point injection and the driver's airbag. It was the second year of the final version of the Classic Mini, built by the Rover Group, which BMW owned, at Longbridge, and the Mini still sold in Japan, a key export market, in small numbers. It was the first full year of the Mark VII. It had a driver's airbag from the introduction of the Mark VII.
